Chapter Ten.

Chloe.

I stand in my empty apartment in the doorway to the living room, looking around at the bare walls, where all of my pictures once hung, as glad as I am to be leaving this place, I'm also extremely sad about it, this is where Harmony first learned to crawl, first learned to walk, said her first word, so many of her firsts happened in these very walls, and it is like I'm saying goodbye to them, I know I'll always have those memories in my head, but I'll never be able to stare in this room again and see them take place like a movie.

"Hey, we just loaded the last of the boxes on" I hear Diana say behind me.

"Okay" I nod.

"You okay?" She asks resting her hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah" I nod.

"Remember when you first moved into this place?" Diana asks looking at me with a smile.

"You mean the week when the elevator was broken and I had to carry two giant suitcases up the stairs?" I ask her.

"Yeah and you nearly fell back and cracked your head open, but luckily I was behind you and caught you" Diana smiled.

"Aww yes my knight in shining armour" I chuckled. "Yeah yours and Harmony's"

"God she was literally the size of a tomato then" I shake my head softly.

"I know, and in two weeks time she's going to be five, it's insane how time flies" Diana shakes her head. "I can't believe that in three months time it would have been six years since we met each other" "I know right, I can't believe I even kept you around for all these years" Diana shoves my shoulder softly. "Hey I'm fabulous and you know it" I laugh shoving her back.

"Eh you're alright I suppose, but the truth is, I only stuck around for Harmony" She smirks.

I gasp and put my hand over my chest.

"That one actually hurt" I pout.

"Suck it up, it's the truth"

"You're so mean" I roll my eyes.

"I love you really, you know that" Diana smiles wrapping her arms around me and pulling me in for a hug.

I've always loved hugging her because of our height difference, plus she gives really amazing hugs, just don't tell Dani that, it'd probably hurt her feelings. "It's time to say goodbye to this place" Diana sighs as we pull apart.

"Is it weird that I feel sad about leaving here?" I ask Diana.

"Nah I don't think so, this is your first home you know, you built this place into what it was, this is where you raised Harmony, it's right to feel sad about it, and to miss it"

"God I’m going to start getting emotional" I wipe underneath my eyes as I feel tears starting to form. "Aww Chlo, you've got the memories and the videos, you don't need the place" Diana smiles wrapping her arm over my shoulders to comfort me.

"You're right" I nod.

"I can't believe you're leaving me though, I can't just walk up a flight of stairs and walk
